LibbyRuth Sturtevant has been a singer/songwriter and pianist almost all her life. She started piano when she was eight years old and has been in love with music ever since. Libby started writing her own songs at age 10, worship leading at age 12, and teaching piano at age 15.

Her sound is a mix of classical and contemporary, leaving listeners feeling relaxed and peaceful. Libby can also play violin, guitar, trumpet, and basically any instrument she can get her hands on! 

"One of my main goals as a songwriter is to bring comfort to the sad and lonely hearts that need to feel the love of God", says Libby.

Her first project, "Love Songs and Lullabies", a compilation of instrumental and lyrical songs, will be available for purchase in January 2009. A portion of all the proceeds will be given to an orphanage in Cambodia that Libby helps sponsor with her church, Dallas Christian Fellowship. 

Libby is passionate about helping the poor and needy in any way she can.

When she's not making music, Libby likes to paint, go to ballet class, and hang out with her family and friends. She's a junior in college working towards a degree in fine arts.
