Canadian singer/songwriter and outdoor enthusiast Joal Kamps is a man of many talents. His passion for the art runs deep as he, in the 24 years of his life, has pursued many an artistic avenue -- usually through the ever popular stream of live performance. Incorporating his passion for music with his ideals and world traveling experiences, Kamps has compiled a diverse record titled 'Waiting', which features a unique blend of Indie Folk-pop -- but is so much more than that; it’s a two-seater plane and you’re sitting right beside the pilot. It starts grounded, but soon you feel lift and it takes you soaring to new and unexpected places. The sky is the limit and you are heading straight for the sun. Best of all, you get to feel the weightlessness of it: turbulence, barrel-rolls and all!

Kamps’ hope is to continue to do what he loves: create and perform music. A perfect world would see Joal adding to his already bursting kaleidoscope of adventures while continually writing songs inspired by whomever and whatever is around him: ideally the impoverished and staunchly beautiful; returning to Canada to produce yet another cherished album with an array of musically talented friends, followed by sharing his gift with anyone who will listen.
