Music has been a major influence in Dennis’ life. While attending Hawaii Baptist Academy, he learned various aspects of secular and religious music. With a love for performance, he ventured into live theatre, rock bands, and other venues of the music industry either singing as a soloist or performing with groups.  He went on to create the album ‘Smile’ of which the song ‘Hula Girl’ hit #1 in Hawaii.  

Although being a life long Christian, he never really understood the meaning of the Christ’s sacrifice until falling down himself.   This is the reason that he wish’s give his testimony though music and song.  That to remember out Savior’ words is to remember our own human heart and to understand the suffering of others. His songs are a reflection of how the Holy Spirit made an emotional impact in his life.  

The new album ‘You lift me high’ is about the sacrifice that our Lord had done to save us from the enemy and from ourselves.  

Dennis’s song writing is always a reflection of his love for the Lord.  His song ‘You lift me high’ is about the power of the Lords grace upon all those he touches.  ‘My God Almighty’ is a uplifting song about coming together as a congregation in worship of our savior.  

Dennis is currently a worship leader at Full Gospel Emmanuel church in Honolulu. He volunteers his time to help the homeless at the Mission House in downtown Honolulu.
